Michael Kruger (HSSE)

Michael Kruger, based in Austria, is the Chief Technical Officer of Skytanking, overseeing HSSE, OPEX, Sustainable Development, IT, Quality and Assets. He joined Skytanking after serving as Vice President  HSSE with Borouge, an OMV and ADNOC joint venture in the UAE  following a 9 year period as HSSE Manager for Borealis in Europe. Before he started his corporate career in 2010, he established and owned an international HSSE consulting business.

He is a qualified lawyer with a Masters in Social Psychology specialising in how to train managers on decision making, behaviour and culture. In his spare time, he pursues his  passion for aviation by piloting helicopters. Michael joined the JIG HSSE Committee in July 2024.
